Mouse Cursor Invisible Issue

The cursor is disappearing for some users after login. Our team has traced the issue to a Microsoft update to their WebView2 component which is an embedded Edge browser that hosts the sign-in ​of our application. Under certain circumstances, the cursor will disappear and remain invisible after the embedded browser is closed.

Follow these steps to prevent your cursor from disappearing:

1. When the sign-in appears at startup, enter your email and password. DO NOT hit enter.
2. Note that as you type, the cursor goes invisible. This is the bug.

3. Now, simply move your mouse after entering your password and it should reappear.

4. Optional: check the "remember me" so you don't have to sign in every session

5. Click sign in. The cursor should remain visible.

You can check the "remember me" box and you won't have to sign in next time, skipping this issue entirely in the future.

This issue is caused by a component automatically updated by Microsoft. We are communicating with them about the issue and also looking into updating WinBidPro to specifically target an older version of the component from before the bug was introduced.
